Overnight Oats
Ingredients
Milk
Chia Seeds
Honey
Oats
Nuts, seeds and/or berries to top
Method
This can be made in batches which last around 3 days. Measure out equal quantities of oats and milk into a large bowl, we measure this in cups but you will get an idea of how much you are making depending on the volume in the bowl.
We often use a variety of milks depending on the flavour we are looking for. Sometimes cows milk, sometimes almond milk if we want a really nutty flavour and some times oat milk if we want a really creamy texture. Coconut milk is great if you like that flavour and you can mix half of the milk with coconut yoghurt to make the oats a little richer. Play around with this versatile breakfast to find your favourite.
We always add around half a tablespoon of chia seeds to each portion, this adds extra protein to the meal. Mix these through the oat and milk mixture.
Leave the mixture to combine in the fridge for around two hours. Once the milk has been absorbed by the oats and chia seeds you can decant the mixture into smaller glasses, in portion sizes.
Top with nuts, seeds and/or berries, as well as a good drizzle of our Brock and Morten Honey.
