Behind the Scenes - A catch up on Brock and Morten

There is always such a lot going on at Brock and Morten HQ. Behind the calm exterior you see at events, we are paddling away like crazy underneath it all. We love our business and what we produce. We started this business because we are passionate about our products and our farming heritage and we wanted some of that to carry on and remain in the future. That is why we never let our business stand still and we are always working hard to bring you the next great offering from Brock and Morten. 

At the moment we are in harvest season. We farm, harvest, press and bottle our rapeseed oil on site at our Chatsworth tenant farm in Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire. So, as you can imagine, that keeps us very busy indeed. On top of that, we also deliver our rapeseed oil and mayonnaise to our local stockists, post out online orders and attend lots of events across the country with our full range of natural and flavoured rapeseed oils, mayonnaise and honey. 

Think that is a lot? We are also very busy creating one or two exciting new things from Brock and Morten too, which you will be seeing in 2017. The first of these is a very exciting venture for us indeed. At the end of 2016, we spotted a dream opportunity to buy a converted horse box. We instantly fell in love and dreamt up our plans for converting this into a catering outlet to take to events with us. Although events are getting better at providing a variety of food options, we are always left a little disappointed at the events we attend as to what healthy food choices are on offer. There are rarely any nutritional or healthy options available and this is something we wanted to change. Yes, the food will be healthy, but it is also going to be super delicious too! 

So, you will soon see the Brock and Morten Salad Box at an event near you. We are launching the Salad Box at the Fabulous Places Summer market this weekend and can’t wait to show you all. We will be serving a range of delicious salads, herbal teas and healthy snacks. We will also be there in our usual form with our full range of rapeseed oils, honey and mayonnaise. On top of this, you will also see a new product launched from Brock and Morten later this year/ early next year. This is something we are very excited about bringing to you and something we have wanted to launch for a very long time. As all of our products, this new addition is now going through our rigorous trail and testing phase to ensure it is just perfect.
