The weather might not be quite what we would expect at this time of year, but cooking outdoors is still on our mind and we are recipe planning ahead of the time when we get to fire up the BBQ and dine in the sunshine. Below you will find some of our favourite products that we will be using on repeat this summer and how we like to use them. Take a look and see if you can find something new that you would like to use in your own recipes.
Lemon Flavoured Rapeseed Oil
If you are looking for something that will add a fresh and vibrant flavour to your dishes this summer then our Lemon flavoured rapeseed oil is a store cupboard essential. This oil can be used during the cooking of chicken, fish and vegetables as well as in marinades, for drizzling and dipping. A good all rounder and one of our summer staples.
Chilli Flavoured Rapeseed Oil
Our chilli flavoured rapeseed oil is the perfect addition to any marinade. When barbecuing we use this constantly. It gives a wonderful heat but with a delicious flavour. Let meat and vegetable soak in the flavour of this oil within a marinade before adding to the bbq and you will never have boring barbecue food again.
Balsamic Vinegar
Balsamic vinegar will always have a place on our Summertime table. Often used for drizzling and dipping, we also use this rich vinegar to create salad dressings, marinades and sauces.
White Italian Condiment
Similar to the balsamic vinegar, we use this condiment a lot over the summer for dressings, sauces and marinades. Its sharp delicious taste makes a great addition to sweet and sour dishes and combined with mint it makes the perfect mint sauce.
Raspberry Vinegar
Not only can our raspberry vinegar be used within marinades and dressings it is also delicious as a drink too. We add a small amount to a glass and top up with sparkling water or Prosecco. Delicious!
