A Salad Dressing Recipe Made Using Rapeseed Oil
At this time of year salads are a 'go to' staple for our lunch times. A great way to give any salad an extra layer of flavour is with a delicious, healthy dressing. We love to make our own as there are so many variations you can add to make it bespoke to your tastes.
Using rapeseed oil gives it a great natural base which is low in fat but rich in Vitamin E and Omega 3,6 & 9.
Salad dressings are super easy to make with a simple method of adding all the ingredients to a jar and shaking or adding to a bowl and whisking. Below is a typical dressing that we make for our salads but this can be adapted with a range of tasty ingredients, just keep the rapeseed oil base.
4 tablespoons of Brock & Morten Rapeseed Oil
2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
1 crushed garlic clove
2 teaspoons of honey
2 teaspoons of wholegrain mustard
Handful of any fresh herbs
Salt and Pepper
For a variation try using our flavoured rapeseed oils as the rapeseed oil base.
