Stockist of the Month - Hartington Village Stores

We have been featuring one of our lovely stockists each month here on the blog as a way of saying thank you for the part they play in our business. 

This month we have the charming Village Stores in Hartington. If you have ever paid a visit to the quaint village of Hartington, you will understand when we say its just like taking a step back in time. With it’s beautiful chocolate box cottages and village green, it really is idilic! 

The Hartington Stores have an extensive history and it has been the main village store certainly within living memory. In 2012 the store was taken over, and although necessary renovation work was carried out, it was lovingly restored to still possess the same charm and character that it has always had. 

We are proud to have Brock and Morten rapeseed oils stocked in this historic village store alongside some other great artisan producers. The owners of the store themselves also bake and make some delicious food which you can purchase and eat on the available tables, or take away. 

As any village store they stock everything from cleaning products to plants, but they also pride themselves on their handmade goods and well sourced products, ensuring they are offering something different and exciting to their customers. 

Hartington is a busy little village and is very popular with tourists. It is worth paying a visit to the village itself, as well as to Hartington Village Stores to support this wonderful independent business.
